Rep. Todd Akin: “Rape victims don’t get pregnant”

Rep. Todd Akin, the Republican nominee for Senate in Missouri, is a complete dickface.

Rep. Todd Akin, the Republican nominee for Senate in Missouri who is running against Sen. Claire McCaskill, justified his opposition to abortion rights even in case of rape with a claim that victims of “legitimate rape” have unnamed biological defenses that prevent pregnancy.

“First of all, from what I understand from doctors [pregnancy from rape] is really rare,” Akin told KTVI-TV in an interview posted Sunday. “If it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.”

Unbelievable! What a tool. How can people be so ignorant of biology? Not the candidate – the idiots who vote for him, including women!

Paul Ryan: Stimulus Supporter? You Bet!

Apparently Ryan also supported a stimulus when George W. Bush proposed it. Gushing? Perhaps:

“What we’re trying to accomplish today with the passage of this third stimulus package is to create jobs and help the unemployed. What we’re trying to accomplish is to pass the kinds of legislation that when they’ve passed in the past have grown the economy and gotten people back to work. In recessions unemployment lags on well after a recovery has taken place.” – Paul Ryan, 2002
Why do these politicians keep forgetting that all the words they use can be accessed forever?

Paul Ryan: I didn’t request any stimulus money! Oh, you mean THAT stimulus money…

Paul Ryan has been criticizing Obama’s stimulus plan, and stating that he never asked for any of the money. You know, because the stimulus isn’t working, and it’s a terrible horrible plan that will drive this country into the ground and set kittens on fire?

Well, it turns out that he DID request stimulus money! In 2009.

All I have to say is WOW, did Romney ever pick a complementary running mate!

GOP: Flip-Floprosy/Hypocrisy 2012! Catch the fever! Which we’ll claim we don’t like plans for and can’t pay for the cure of, even though we wrote universal health care plans and voted for Medicare prescription increases!

I wonder who the Republicans are going to run at the end of Obama’s second term?
